Krka waterfalls National Park private tour
Untouched Croatia
Krka National Park lies on 72 kilometers long river Krka making it natural and karst phenomenon.
There are little words that can describe beauty of Krka waterfalls.
Maybe some facts could do it better: here lives over 860 plant species and over 20 animal species of wich 10 of them are endemic.
Before enternig National Park we will visit a small town called Skradin that lies on shores of Krka river. The town is famous for its turbulent, 6000 years old past.
You can choose to visit some signigicant historical buildings like The Church of Our Lady with the bell tower or ortodox church in center of town.
Arriving at Krka National Park you will be left breathless. You will enter flat plateau and then sharply lower ground leading to crystal clear and quiet lakes.
National Park Krka consists of seven waterfalls and most impressive and visited waterfalls are Skradinski buk and Roški.
From Roški falls the river once again turns into an elongated lake named Visovac. There is a little islet in the middle of the lake and on the islet there is a church and Franciscan monastery which add secrecy to the lake and islet.
Skradinski buk is considered one of the most beautiful cliff water falls in Europe. You can see them with a walk through a Forrest on a wooden path and bridges.
On the river there is small village with mills, forge workshop and traditional crafts from this area.
